You are to prepare a case study of a global organisation of your choice.
§ Critically Explain what globalization is
§ Evaluate the reasons the organisation had to go global
§ Analyze the Internal and External environment of the organisation
§ Evaluate the impact on marketing of going global
§ Critically analyze national and industry based competitive advantage of the organisation, in particular discuss through examples the importance of product innovation, how to protect it (e.g. patents, copyrights, etc.) and the consequences of not protecting innovation.

Instructions:
Select an organisation predominantly operating in the UK. (Is it suggested that you select an organisation listed on the Stock Exchange FTSE 250 or FTSE350) and draw up an internationalization plan.
§ Analyze the factors that would facilitate its internationalization
§ Evaluate the global market potential for possible expansion
§ Research and analyze market information
§ Analyses the risks and issues of internationalization
§ Propose appropriate measures to mitigate the risks in internationalization
